Kamila Massage Therapist

Kamila Borutova, Owner, RMT

After graduating with Masters Degree from the Palacky University in the Czech Republic, she has moved to Canmore in 1998 to enjoy the mountain life. When she was not climbing mountains or competing in cross-country races all over the world, she has been traveling as a massage therapist with the Biathlon National Team on a World Cup circuit and the Olympics 2006.

Kamila has also been working at Wildflower ever since it has been open. Mother of two boys, Kamila is now trying to find a balance between her family and running our busy Spa.

Georgette Lamontagne

Georgette moved from Nova Scotia to be closer to family in 2002.

She joined the Wildflower team as the full time receptionist this summer and continues her passion for serving the public. i do miss the ocean, but the mountains are stunning. I look forward to staying active, and spending as much time in the outdoors as possible.

Lada Massage Therapist

Lada came to Canmore from Czech Republic in June 2015. After graduating from Palacky University in Olomouc with Master degree in Physiotherapy, she has been working for two years before realizing that she would like to travel some more and experience great Canadian nature.

Coming from very active family, she has been a competitor in cross country skiing and orienteering. She also likes climbing, swimming, dancing and yoga. All those sports are helping her to understand the challenges of active lifestyle and make it easy to find a way how to release all your pains and strains.

She is trained in deep tissue and sport massage, relaxation massage, reflexology and joint mobilization. Her physiotherapy background brings a unique twist to her treatments and will benefit all of her clients.

Angie Hodgson is Registered Massage Therapist and has been working for the past 5 years locally and abroad.

She brings a background in Kinetic Swedish Massage and further training in Myofascial Release. Being an advocate of holistic health; having a passion for movement, structural alignment and a fascination of the intrinsic workings of the human body has kept her inspired to continue to offer massage for better balance in ones life.

Kirsteen, Massage Therapist

Kirsteen has just recently relocated to Canmore. Having spent the last 2 years in Saskatoon Sk, Kirsteen fell in love with the Rockies and mountain life and decided to move here to make it her home.

Originally from England, Kirsteen has travelled extensively throughout the world, including living for 3 years in Honduras. Her passion is scuba diving and she is a Master Instructor although the glacier lakes of the Rockies may prove her biggest challenge yet!

Sarah, Massage Therapist

Born and raised in the Northwest Territories, Sarah moved to Alberta where she completed her Bachelors Degree in Physical Education at the University of Alberta and her Diploma in Massage Therapy (2200 hours) at Grant MacEwan University.

Coming from a very active family, Sarah made the move to the Bow Valley for new and exciting adventures in the mountains. She strongly believes in living a balanced lifestyle of work and play, and with the use of massage therapy, she believes it is great tool to help others fulfill their goals.

With the use of clinical assessment, Sarah takes great pride in customizing each treatment to suit every client she works with. Sarah is also trained in myofacial release therapy, lymphatic drainage, postural dysfunctions, remedial exercise, and joint mobilization.

On Sarah's spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, cooking and snowboarding.

Lydie (or more often Lili) originally studied physiotherapy and after graduating with a Bachelor degree she worked with high performance athletes in a sport clinic in Brno (Czech Republic) for three years. However,once she came to Canada and spent a couple of months in Canmore she and her partner decided to relocate to these beautiful mountains. They even brought their dog over the ocean so they can be together and fully enjoy life here!

Cheyenne and her husband moved to Canmore 2 years ago from Toronto where she was a physical therapy assistant in a busy downtown clinic. She and her husband were looking for a change of lifestyle and fell in love with Canmore on their first visit 5 years ago. They are now both avid Mountain Bikers, Hikes and Snow Boarders and are enjoying life to its fullest.

She recently finished her 2200 hour massage diploma in Calgary and likes to apply her physio techniques in her massages. She is also certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy™ hands-on mobilization-stretching and has experience working with many different types of people from professional athletes to the elderly. Cheyenne completed her practicum hours for massage school with the National Cross Country team and The Alberta Academy.

Tracy Hadley is a Registered Massage Therapist in 2013 at Alberta Institute of Massage in Red Deer. She graduated from an advanced massage therapist diploma program with 2200 hours. Tracy has lived in Banff, Alberta for 10 years.

Tracy has recently completed courses in reflexology, raindrop therapy with essential oil blends, advanced hot and cold stone massage that helps therapeutically with tmj dysfunction, lower back dysfunction, sport massage with flushing, tendonitis and issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, innervation issues, lymphatic drainage. Tracy has future goals of pursuing lomi lomi massage, active isolated stretching, rolfing and lymphatic drainage. She is wanting to grow career wise and be adaptable for the various client's needs.

In her leisure time she likes to read, do various craft projects such as cross stitch, drawing, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, painting, calligraphy, photography.

Michelle RMT

Michelle hails from the land of living skies, Saskatchewan, where she and her partner owned a gym and massage clinic for 5 years. She graduated from Western Collage of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2006. With training in shamanic healing and psychosomatic therapy along with various massage therapy techniques, Michelle brings a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of body, mind and spirit.

The lure of mountain adventures drew Michelle and her partner to Canmore in fall of 2015 where they love to get out hiking and exploring as much as possible. In her spare time, Michelle also likes to dance, practice yoga and pursue studies in holistic nutrition.

Michelle comes to Wildflower with a broad range of skills and experience to give her clients exceptional care.

Andrea has been enrolled in the second year of the Massage Therapy diploma program at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Calgary. With her long term background in practicing Yoga, Acrobatic Yoga and energy healing modalities, studying Massage Therapy and understanding the function of a physical body was one of the greatest decisions she has ever made.

She strongly believes, that "Everything comes from inside out", therefore her treatments are based not only on physical level release but also on relieving the body energetics. After travelling the world for more than 10 years Andrea got mesmerised by the beauty of Rocky Mountains and decided to call it home.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tara's passion for helping others and interest in aromatherapy made the transition into Massage Therapy a natural choice. Having started her training at the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba, she transferred to complete her 2200 hour diploma at Foothills College of Massage Therapy in 1999. Her love of travel and meeting new people led her to Whistler, where she has worked with all types of clients, from the spa elite to athletes with injuries. Originally a therapeutic and sports massage therapist, Tara was introduced to spa life early on in her career. She loves getting her clients to try new things. Her belief and experience has shown her that sometimes relaxation is key to being your best. Whether you are a pro athlete, a super mom, or anything in between, you need to take time for you.

Tara specializes in Swedish Massage (Relaxation, Therapeutic, and Sport), Pregnancy massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Reiki. She also has training as a Pilates mat instructor. She moved to the Bow Valley in 2003, and now spends much of her time with her husband camping and exploring with their three young boys.

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland Luke traveled to Canada briefly in 2010, and after completing his studies in Sports Therapy from Sallynoggin College he moved to Banff where he resided for a year. He then traveled through Australia for numerous months,and has come back to pursue second degree in business from SAIT, where he i currently enrolled full time.

Luke has always been very active, and completed a personal training diploma during his sports therapy studies. Luke is able to use his knowledge from his own active lifestyle in order to help clients continue theirs. Luke is also trained in Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques and Active Release.

In his spare time Luke likes to take advantages of the active lifestyle Canmore offers, and enjoys snowboarding, biking and hiking.

Coming to the Bow Valley from Red Deer/AB, Vladi was working at the Esthetics 2001, one of the first day spas in Canmore. She has established regular clientele over the years and she is considered to be one of the best estheticians in the Valley. With her degree in nutrition, you may end up with advice, not just in skin care, but also common sense healthy eating.

Also a proud Mom of Jan Hudec, one of the best Canadian downhill skiers, and Philip Hudec, who is following successful tracks of his older brother.

After traveling around the world and discovering new massage techniques in Thailand and India, working in Unity Senter in Oslo, Norway, Vitality Slezsko in Vendryně, Czechia, Hotel FIS in Slovakia High Tatra mountain.

After landing in Canmore in the summer of 2016, Beata completed her training at the Esthetics Institute in Calgary. She has been working at Wildflower ever since. With her optimistic and positive energy, you are guaranteed to feel much better after your treatment!

Beata likes to recharge her energy in the nature, hiking, cycling and skiing are her passions.


Danielle Leigh

After spending the majority of her childhood in the Northwest Territories, Danielle spent most of her time between B.C, Alberta, Ireland and the UK. She obtained her degree in Dance in 1998, then went on to receive certifications in Yoga, Pilates Matwork, Trampoline and Tumbling.

Realizing the need to combine energy healing with her movement therapies and practices, is when she stepped into her training for Reiki, Traditional Thai Massage Therapy and Sound Healing. Shamanic teachings and practices have been with her since early childhood.

Danielle has lived in Canmore for the past ten years. Her days are filled with experiences combining her writing, healing practices, husband and three small children.

Norja Vanderelst has been practising Reiki since 2002, and is a Usui & Karuna Reiki Master Teacher since 2004. After experiencing the benefits of Reiki first-hand, she is committed to helping others improve their health and lifestyle. Reiki gives a feeling of peace within, enhances sleep, speeds up the healing of injuries and works overall on a mental, emotional, spiritual and physical level.

After a year away from Reiki, she felt the balance went missing in her life, so now she is available again for Reiki Treatments at the spa.
